Lars-Helge Strömquist, PhD

CEO, Member of the Board, NDA Group

Lars-Helge Strömquist is CEO and a member of the board of directors of NDA Group. He joined the pharmaceutical industry in clinical research for Astra 1982 and has since held a variety of senior positions with regional and global responsibility.

His experience includes over five years as medical director for Pharmacia, followed by six years as medical director for Fisons in the Nordics Countries and the Baltic states, where he was also member of the European management team. Additionally, Dr Strömquist worked for Innovex-Quintiles, until 1997 when he set up NDA.

Since its establishment, NDA Group has grown to be one of the leading pharmaceutical regulatory and HTA consultancies in Europe, maintaining AAA financial rating throughout this expansion. The company’s clients include more than 90% of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical companies and hundreds of small and medium biotech firms based in Europe and the US. NDA has offices in UK, Germany and Sweden, and a growing presence in the US.

Earlier this year, Dr Strömquist announced the expansion of NDA’s offering by launching a new health technology assessment (HTA) advisory board.
