Prof Trevor M Jones CBE

Professor Jones is a Director of Allergan Inc (USA)and Sigma Tau Finanzaria SpA (Italy).He is Chairman of the UK stem cell biotech company ReNeuron plc ,a member of the Board of the International CRO Synexus Ltd, the USA biotech Company ,focussing on China ,SciClone Pharmaceuticals Inc and the UK respiratory disease company ,VeronaPharma plc. He is a visiting professor at King’s College, London and holds honorary degrees and Gold Medals from 6 universities.

He was for 12 years a member of The UK Government regulatory agency, The Medicines Commission. For 10 years until September 2004 he was Director General of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) a member of Council of IFPMA and the Board of EFPIA.

In 2005 he was the winner of the SCRIP Life Time Achievement award for his contribution to the pharmaceutical sciences and industry.
He was honoured by the award of CBE in the 2003 New Year's Honours List.
